Chad, senior quarterback at Mira Mesa High, threw for 108 yards in a 28-21 win over Rancho Buena Vista High to break the state career passing record set by Todd Marinovich. He ended his career with 9,328 yards.

Jeong Min, 16, was made a Junior All-America in golf after placing in the top five in four national girls' events, including a first in the Edgewood Tahoe Junior Classic and a second in the PGA Junior Championship.

Jason, a senior at Lewiston High, won his third state individual cross-country title in a row. By covering the 5,000-meter course in 15:47, he beat No. 2 Alan Darakjy of Coeur d'Alene High by 31 seconds.

PITTSBURGH
Graham, 66, and Barth, 58, coaches of North Catholic High's boys' and girls' basketball teams, respectively, have had 1,300 wins during their combined total of 70 years in coaching. Graham, who has guided the Trojans' boys' teams to three state titles, is the state boys' active leader for wins (669) and years coached (43). Barth is the state's alltime victory leader for girls' basketball (649) and has guided North Catholic to four state titles.

Dria Arenth
FRANKLIN, TENN.
Dria, a senior soccer forward at Franklin High, scored a goal against Knoxville Farragut High to lead the Lady Rebels to a 3-0 win and their third straight state girls' title. She had 82 goals and 18 assists in three seasons.
