Comesha, a recent graduate of McComb High, won her fourth consecutive state 4A title in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes, clocking an 11.60 and a 24.65. Comesha, who ended her high school career undefeated in both events, is also a three-time state champion in the long jump, with a personal best of 18'0" at last year's state meet.

Lance, 8, struck out 130 batters in 46 innings and threw four no-hitters en route to a 9-0 record for his Farm League baseball team, Barnett Family Practice, which finished its season 16-0. In the title game he pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out 17 in six innings, and hit a home run. Lance also led Barnett in batting with a .597 average.

Robertson, 42, the girls' golf coach at Goddard High, guided the Rockets to their fourth straight state title and their first in Class AAAA. Her daughter, Jo Jo, a senior-to-be at Goddard, earned medalist honors at the state tournament. Her son, Greg, a recent graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute, repeated as AAA medalist.
Airron, 17, wrestling in the 275-pound class at only 215 pounds, defeated 270-pound two-time Iowa state champion Adam Greiner 5-3 at the national high school wrestling championships in Pittsburgh. Earlier, Airron, a 4.0 student at Start High, won the state 275-pound crown to cap a 36-0 senior season.
NEW YORK CITY
Gina, a tennis player and the valedictorian at New Dorp High, beat Sara Naison-Phillips of Midwood High 6-0, 6-2 to win her fourth straight New York City Public School Athletic League singles championship. Gina, who will attend Harvard this fall, ended her high school career with a 105-1 record in singles play.
POINT LOMA, CALIF.
Bill, 18, finished first in a 60-boat fleet of Laser dinghies to win the Single-Handed Nationals—his second U.S. youth sailing title in as many years. In 1992 he skippered the winning boat in the Double-Handed Nationals. This spring Bill led Point Loma High to the Mallory Trophy, the most prestigious award in high school sailing.
