Fuller, 25, won the women's 2,500-meter indoor rowing event at the European Team Cup in 8:20.6, 14 seconds better than the time of the runner-up, 1992 Olympic single sculls gold medalist Elisabeta Lipa of Romania. Fuller was the indoor world rowing champ at 2,500 meters in '89, '91 and '92.
Jessica, 17, placed fourth among 31 entrants in the 500-mile John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, finishing in 96:41, less than six hours behind winner Doug Swingley, 40, of Simms, Mont. Jessica, the youngest participant ever in the event's 11 years, was competing in her first race of more than 130 miles.
Metro, a senior setter, led Northern Michigan to the Division II women's volleyball crown with 40 of the Wildcats' 49 assists in a 3-1 championship match victory over Cal State-Bakersfield. Metro was named the Division II women's player of the year for the second consecutive season.

Shep, a senior hockey goalie for Blake High, stopped 31 of 33 shots to lead the Bears to a 3-2 defeat of Bloomington Jefferson High, ending the Jaguars' 60-game unbeaten streak. Through last Friday, he had six shutouts in 18 games, a 1.79 goals-against average and a save percentage of .936.
Harrington, a sophomore center at Arkansas-Monticello, had 31 rebounds and 32 points in a 76-53 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and 30 rebounds and 32 points in a 70-69 loss to Ouachita Baptist. She is the Cotton Blossoms' leading rebounder (15.06 per game) and scorer (22.39).
