Rich Dressler
NEW HAVEN, CONN.
Dressler, the senior goalkeeper on the Yale men's lacrosse team and the Elis' alltime save leader since his junior year, set Ivy League records for career saves in all games (796) and career saves in Ivy games (330). As a premedical student majoring in biology, he graduated with a 3.30 average.

LaShonda Christopher
LACEY, WASH.
LaShonda, a junior at River Ridge High, used meet-record leaps to win the long jump (19'9") and the triple jump (41'7½") for the third year in a row at the state 3A championships. She also anchored the victorious 4 x 200 relay team for the state champion Hawks.

C.J. Ankrum
SARATOGA, CALIF.
C.J., a senior centerfielder at Saratoga High, finished the season with 15 home runs, 28 stolen bases (in 30 attempts) and a league-leading batting average of .714 with only two strikeouts in 77 at bats. He was also 2-1 with four saves in eight appearances as a lefthanded relief pitcher.

Mary Jane Amsbary
ASHTABULA, OHIO
Amsbary, 69, who is in only her sixth year of competitive swimming, won five of the six events she entered in the women's 65-69 age group at the YMCA short-course nationals. She got the gold in the 50-and 100-yard backstrokes and the 50, 100 and 200 breaststrokes.

Peter Dreyfuss
COCONUT GROVE, FLA.
Dreyfuss, 24, competing in a field of 80 sailors from 22 countries, won the Laser class at the Miami Olympic Classes Regatta. Dreyfuss, who is the reigning U.S. champion in the class, has also earned a berth to compete in the 1994 Laser world championships in Osaka.

Kori Sosnowy
CAMERON, TEXAS
Kori, a senior at C.H. Yoe High, became the first woman to win four straight state 3A tennis titles when she defeated Tanya Cornejo of Jourdanton High for the third year in a row in the final, 6-3, 7-5. She had a four-year record of 69-0 and is graduating as the valedictorian of her class.
