McLEAN, VA.
Sarah, a junior lacrosse attack at The Gunnery school in Washington, Conn., had 100 goals in 14 games this season to set a school record, lead all New England scorers and bring her career total to 204. She is also an honor student and a member of The Gunnery's varsity hockey and soccer teams.

Nick Bravin
SUNNYVALE, CALIF.
Bravin, 23, won his third U.S. men's foil title when he beat Alan Weber of Seaford, N.Y., 15-7 at the national fencing championships. He was also the victor in 1991 and '92, and this year he reclaimed the title from eight-time champ Michael Marx of South Bend, who was eliminated in the semifinals.

Clark Jennings
LITTLE ROCK, ARK.
Clark, the goalkeeper for Catholic High's freshman soccer team, allowed no goals while leading the Rockets to an undefeated (12-0) season and the state's Scholastic Cup title with an 11-0 victory over Springdale High. Over the course of its schedule the team outscored its opponents 119-0.

Lindsay McDavitt
TAMPA
Lindsay, 10, broke a 15-year-old junior Olympic meet record in the 10-and-under girls' age group by swimming the 50-yard backstroke in 31.64 at the Florida short-course championships. She also won the 100 backstroke and the 100 and 200 individual medleys.

Jim Senske
NEW ULM, MINN.
Senske, 55, a social studies teacher at New Ulm High, became the winningest baseball coach in Minnesota high school history, with 510 victories, when the Eagles beat Chaska High 12-2. Senske, who has been coaching 32 years, ended the season with a 515-126-4 career record.

Eric Frishette
CAROL, OHIO
Frishette, a senior golfer for Kent State, won seven major college tournaments this year, three of them consecutively. He averaged 73.7 strokes per round for the season and earned a spot on the All-America second team to become the Golden Flashes' first three-time golf All-America.
