Football Yates, a junior tailback at Southern Oregon, rushed for 348 yards on 38 carries in a 58-21 victory over Pacific Lutheran and 202 yards against Menlo College to become the Raiders' alltime leading rusher, with 2,939 yards. Water Skiing Price, 71, won the tricks, jumping and overall titles in the men's 70-74 division at the U.S. championships. Price has competed in 39 straight nationals and won 29 titles. Thole, now the alltime leading scorer with four hat tricks, has 16 goals, six assists and 38 points. She has the fastest 1,600-meter high school race walk in the state this year (7:55.0) and has qualified for the national scholastic indoor championships.
