Swimming Botsford, a freshman at Arizona, won the 200-meter backstroke in 2:06.70, a national women's record, and placed fourth in the 100 backstroke at the NCAA championships. Wrestling Cozart, 46, a high school wrestling coach, pinned Dean Olson of Mantua, Ohio, in 1:20 and Jim Lucas of Santa Cruz, Calif., in 1:25 to win the 46- to 50-year-old title in the 152-pound division at the U.S. championships.
