He placed second in the 145-pound division at the Junior Olympic Nationals a week later. It was the third state singles crown in four years for Russell, who was 28-0 in singles play this season, winning 56 of 58 sets. Golf Wiley, 57, an insurance company manager, a golfer for 42 years and a 12 handicapper, finally made an ace--twice, on Dallas's Hyatt Bear Creek (West) course. He drove a five-wood 185 yards on the par-3 5th and hit a four-iron 178 yards on the par-3 17th, for a three-over 75 round.COLOR PHOTO: FORD JACOBSEN Mary McConnaughey, Omaha Arm Wrestling McConnaughey, 40, a laboratory manager, won the masters' (133 pounds and over), women's right (177 pounds and over) and women's left (177 pounds and over) divisions at the American Armsports Association national championships.
