Track and Field Alexander, 70, a feedlot owner, won the 100, 200 and 400 meters in the men's 70-74 age group at the state senior games, qualifying in all three events for the 2001 Senior Olympics. He had previously earned age-group golds in those three events at the Cornhusker Games.

Field Hockey Corsilli, a freshman at Holy Cross, led the nation's goalkeepers in goals-against average (.500) and save percentage (.897) after a 6-0 shutout of Ursinus College. A veteran of the U.S. Junior Olympic and National Futures teams, she had eight shutouts in 12 games through Saturday.

Pickens collected a cross in the box from midfielder Susan Kraeger and beat Tigers keeper Katie Carson to the near post for her team-leading seventh goal of the season.

Earlier this year Schultz got three golds at the city senior games, winning singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
