K.J. Choi is the fourth Asian to win on the PGA Tour, joining
Isao Aoki (1983 Hawaiian Open), T.C. Chen ('87 L.A. Open) and
Shigeki Maruyama (2001 Greater Milwaukee Open).... Juli Inkster's
two-stroke victory over Kelly Robbins in the rain-shortened (to
36 holes) Chick-fil-A Charity Championship was the 27th of her
career. Inkster, 41, is the 12th 41-or-older LPGA winner since
1985.... Sammy Rachels beat Dana Quigley with a birdie on the
second playoff hole at the Bruno's Memorial Classic, but Quigley
set a Senior tour record with his 178th consecutive start....
Malcolm Mackenzie, 40, won the Novotel Perrier Open in Paris with
a birdie on the final hole, his first W in 509 starts. That
victory drought, a record for the European tour, would have also
set the mark on the PGA, LPGA and Senior tours.
