Len Mattiace made up seven strokes on third-round leader Glen
Hnatiuk with a final-round 64 at the FedEx St. Jude Classic, the
largest come-from-behind victory on the Tour this year....
Mattiace made an eagle and 11 birdies without a bogey on the
weekend, becoming only the third multiple winner in 2002, along
with Tiger Woods (three victories) and Phil Mickelson (two)....
Rookie Boo Weekley, the darling of last fall's Q school, made his
first cut in 11 starts, finishing 19th thanks to a final-round
63.... With her victory at the ShopRite, Annika Sorenstam has won
19 of the 60 tournaments (32%) she has entered since the start of
2000. Over the same period Woods has won 17 of 50 (34%).... Soren
Hansen of Denmark survived a four-man playoff at the Irish Open,
becoming the European tour's 11th first-time winner in 2002.
