Padraig Harrington's victory at the Target World Challenge was
his third in the last 10 weeks, but the Irishman's first in the
U.S.... Peter Lonard of Australia has been even hotter than
Harrington. Lonard's playoff victory over Adam Scott and Gavin
Coles at the Australian Masters was his third win in four weeks,
including the Australian PGA.... Mark McNulty won the Vodacom
Players Championship to become, at 49, the second-oldest winner
on the South African Sunshine Tour.... In Shah Alam, Malaysia,
Kevin Na, a 19-year-old from Diamond Bar, Calif., won the Volvo
Masters of Asia by two strokes. Na, who in 2001 bypassed his
senior year of high school to turn professional, is the youngest
winner of a pro event this year.... In the Japan Tour's
season-ending event, the Nippon Series JT Cup, Shingo Katayama
won by nine strokes over David Smail.
