The Week In Television

July 13, 2003

JULY 11-24

SATURDAY 7/12 > HBO 10:30 PM > Vernon Forrest vs. Ricardo Mayorga

After outboxing previously unbeaten Sugar Shane Mosely twice last

and WBC welterweight belts.

SUNDAY 7/13 > ESPN 4 PM > Women's Soccer U.S. vs. Brazil

Mia Hamm, Brandi Chastain and Cindy Parlow have no worries about
making the World Cup team, but other players are eager to
impress. This possible preview of October's final is the last
match before coach April Heinrichs picks her roster.

MONDAY 7/14 > COURT TV 8 PM > The System: Crying Foul

This look at the court battle over Barry Bonds's 73rd-home-run
ball includes discussion of a whaling law that says the first
ship to harpoon a creature gets it.

WEDNESDAY 7/16 > FOX SPORTS NET 8 PM > Mike Tyson: Beyond the Glory

Rapper and actor Ice-T narrates, and Robin Givens gives her first
sit-down interview about ex-hubby Mike in more than 15 years.

THURSDAY 7/24 > ESPN 3:30 PM> Diamondbacks at Giants

Arizona's hot, and Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling will be
healthy for this one.

DON'T MISS

THURSDAY 7/17 > ESPN2 10 PM >
MLL All-Star Game

The six-team Major League Lacrosse has the world's best players.
