The 6'3", 278-pound Pollack is a run-stopper and a major reason
why the Bulldogs' defense has given up just 17 points in three
games. Combining quickness and crafty bull-rush moves, Pollack,
the 2002 SEC defensive player of the year, has 20 tackles this
season and 16 career sacks. The 6'7", 325-pound Whitworth, a
Freshman All-America last season, helps anchor a stellar line for
the Tigers, who are averaging 47.7 points and 470.7 total yards
in three wins. He has 17 knockdowns and eight pancakes this
season.
