Head To Head This Week Texas WR Roy Williams versus Kansas State CB Randy Jordan

October 05, 2003

The Wildcats' attacking defense, which gives up just 270.4 yards
a game (11th best in the nation), is predicated on stopping the
run and getting to the quarterback. That puts pressure on the
secondary, and no one will feel the heat more than the 6'2",
175-pound Jordan. If Jordan can use his speed and athleticism to
contain the Longhorns' All-America, K-State has a shot. If not,
Texas will show why it leads the nation in scoring (51.2 points a
game).
