Jets QB Looks To Nov. 2 Return

On Monday, Chad Pennington, out since Aug. 23 with a broken left
wrist, threw a football for the first time since being injured.
The Jets' passer said he is confident that he'll be playing again
"no later than Nov. 2." That's the date of the team's only
meeting with the rival Giants until 2007. Pennington's eagerness
to return as soon as possible is about the only good news for the
0-4 club.... Following their 21-14 upset loss to the Bengals on
Sunday--the Browns' ninth defeat in their last 12 home games and
Cincinnati's first win under new coach Marvin Lewis--quarterback
Tim Couch and tackle Ryan Tucker yelled back at a few heckling
fans. "If the fans want to act like that, they can send me a
letter, and I'll buy back their season tickets," said Tucker. "I
don't want them at the game."
