Mari Creatini, NEWTON, MASS.
Field Hockey
Creatini, a junior forward at Northeastern, leads Division I in
points (60), points per game (3.5), goals (24) and goals per game
(1.4). She scored her fifth hat trick of the season--and tied the
Huskies' single-season goal record--in a 4-0 win over Maine.

Wayne Davis, GARRISON, TEXAS
Football
Davis, a senior running back at Louisiana College, set a state
collegiate and American Southwest Conference rushing record when
he ran for 322 yards (on 34 carries) in a win against McMurry. He
scored three of the Wildcats' four fourth-quarter touchdowns.

Rana Hoffbauer, INDIANAPOLIS
Soccer
Hoffbauer, 29, a junior midfielder at Marian College, set a
school scoring record (20 goals, four assists) in the first 11
games. She scored five goals in a game against Campbellsville and
was player of the week in the NAIA region 8 Mid-Central College
Conference.

Mohamed Trafeh, DUARTE, CALIF.
Cross-Country
Mohamed, a senior at Duarte High, ran a meet-best 15:16 while
winning his division of the 5K Stanford Invitational. He also ran
a 14:17 in the three-mile Woodbridge Invitational, breaking the
11-year-old course record. Nationally he is ranked first at three
miles.

Domini Lanzone, RIVER EDGE, N.J.
Volleyball
Lanzone, a senior outside hitter at Rutgers-Newark, reached 2,000
career kills while leading the Scarlet Raiders to the Golden Dome
Invitational title. She also made her 1,000th dig and was named
tournament MVP.

Jonathan Myles, RUMNEY, N.H.
Luge
Myles, 21, a member of the U.S. national team, won all three
heats to take the men's singles title at the U.S. National Luge
Start Championships, an indoor competition that tests starting
speed, in Lake Placid, N.Y. He won bronze at the 2002 junior
world championships.

Rebeccah Wassner, NEW YORK CITY
Triathlon
Wassner, 28, a CPA, finished first in her age group (and was the
third woman overall) at the USA Triathlon Age Group National
Championships. The victory qualified her for the world
championships in New Zealand in December.
