Waialae Country Club, the venue for this week's Sony Open, has
only two par-5s, the 9th and 18th holes. In six of the last seven
years, the 551-yard 18th has been the easiest finishing hole in
Tour events played on one course. In other words, if you're
looking for a birdie, the 18th is the place to find one--are you
listening Michelle?--and if you're hoping to win the tournament,
you had better birdie 18 more than once.
