Greatest Moment

February 23, 2004

Not even the loss of quarterback Bob Griese for eight games with
a fractured leg could stop coach Don Shula's 1972 Miami Dolphins
from putting together the only perfect season in NFL history.
Powered by its No-Name Defense and 1,000-yard rushers Larry
Csonka and Mercury Morris, Miami capped a 17-0 season with a 14-7
win over the Washington Redskins in Super Bowl VII.
