Drew Neitzel, GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.
Basketball
Drew, a senior point guard at Wyoming Park High, scored a total
of 133 points in three games, including career highs of 45 and 57
on consecutive nights. He leads the Vikings with 31.6 points and
9.8 assists per game.

JoAnne Graf, TALLAHASSEE
Softball
Graf, women's fast-pitch coach at Florida State, became the
second Division I coach and third in NCAA history to reach 1,000
victories when the Seminoles beat Mercer on Feb. 11. She has led
the school to 25 straight winning seasons.

Andrew Hochstrasser, TOOELE, UTAH
Wrestling
Andrew, a senior at Tooele High, became the 10th four-time
champion in Utah history when he won the State 3A title. He was
38-1 for the season, and his 170 career victories set a state
record in all weight classes.

Laniece Langford, DORCHESTER, MASS.
Basketball
Laniece, a freshman guard at Jeremiah E. Burke High, ended the
regular season by scoring 53 points in a 68-52 win over Hyde
Park. She started all 19 games for the Lady Bulldogs and averaged
a team-leading 12 rebounds and three steals per game.

Desmond Tardy, INDIANAPOLIS
Football
Desmond, a senior quarterback at Warren Central High, was named
2003 Indiana Mr. Football by the Indianapolis Star. In the class
5A title game, a 57-7 win over Penn High, he rushed for four
touchdowns and a state-record 327 yards.

Hailey Arnold, WINNETKA, ILL.
Hockey
Hailey, a fifth-grader at Skokie School and a wing for the
Wilmette Braves, scored all seven goals as her team beat
Minnetonka 7-4 in the final of the Richfield Minnesota Annual
Girls 10-and-Under Tournament. She has scored 65 goals in 39
games this season.

Pedro Ordenes, CORTE MADERA, CALIF.
Marathon Swimming
Ordenes, 57, a health club manager, became the second person to
complete a round trip of the Beagle Channel in Tiera del Fuego,
Chile (and the oldest, by 27 years, to go even one way). His time
of 1:30:54 for the 4,200 meters lowered the mark by four minutes.
