Teva Mountain Games The second annual adventure sports festival,
in Vail, Colo., features seven disciplines, including speed
bouldering, creek racing down Class IV rapids and a canine
obstacle course.

JUNE 4
Day Ellen MacArthur will decide when to set sail in the B&Q, her
75-foot trimaran, from New York City to Cornwall, England, to
chase a decade-old solo west-east transatlantic record, held by
Laurent Bourgnon, of 7 days, 2 hours, 34 minutes.

JUNE 13
Valmalenco-Valposchiavo International SkyRace Here in the Alps
the hills are alive with sky running--lung-busting footracing at
high altitude. This 18.6-mile run starts at Lanzada, Italy, and
ends in Poschiavo, Switzerland, with nearly 6,000 feet of
elevation change. The course weaves through Alpine villages along
a route once used by smugglers.

JUNE 21
Lance's Five Battles Won The Outdoor Life Network premieres this
one-hour documentary on Lance Armstrong's five Tour de France
victories (OLN, 8 PM).
