2004 NHL DRAFT ESPN2 NOON > A pair of Russians--forward Alexander
Ovechkin and center Evgeni Malkin--could go one-two. -- WORLD
CHAMPION WATERMELON SEED SPITTING CONTEST A crowd of 35,000 is
expected at the 51st annual competition, in Luling, Texas. The
world record: 69' 9 1/8".

ARENA BOWL XVIII NBC 4 PM > The high-scoring San Jose SaberCats
take on the Arizona Rattlers, losers of the last two title games.
-- U.S. OLYMPIC GYMNASTICS TRIALS NBC 7 PM > World all-around
champ Paul Hamm and twin brother Morgan hope to be a double
threat for the U.S. in Athens.

MONDAY 28

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! MARK GRACE > The four-time Gold Glove winner
turns 40. Grace, who retired last year, is a color man for the
Diamondbacks, but he'll take off tonight's game with the Padres
to go night golfing with his pals. "The way I've lived my life,
I'm just happy to see 40," Grace says.

ESPN 25: WHO'S #1? BEST SPORTS MOVIES ESPN 7 PM > Rocky? Bull

U.S. WOMEN'S OPEN ESPN 2 PM > At the Orchards Golf Club on the
campus of women-only Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley,
Mass., Annika Sorenstam goes for her eighth major--the same
number won by Tiger Woods. Standing in her way is Grace Park, who
won the season's first major, the Kraft Nabisco Championship, in
March.
