Because of construction delays, some reporters and USOC officials have been put up in a maternity hospital near the Olympic Stadium. That's no hardship: The rooms are spotless, there's a florist in the lobby and the beds are adjustable (and have safety railings). "The best thing," says one guest, Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan, "is there's always a nurse on duty right outside your door." --M.F.
