******Maurice Drew, Soph., TB, UCLA The 5'8" speedster (right) exploded for 322 rushing yards and scored on runs of 47, 62, 58, 15 and 37 yards in a 37--31 win at Washington.

*****Andrew Walter, Sr., QB, Arizona State He showed why he's one of the nation's most dangerous passers, throwing for 428 yards and five TDs in a 44--7 rout of Iowa.

****Sonny Cumbie, Sr., QB, Texas Tech Even if Tech's system deserves much credit, completing 30 of 50 passes for 441 yards and four TDs in a 70--35 win over TCU is impressive.

***Tom Zbikowski, Soph., DB, Notre Dame He had an interception and forced two fumbles, ripping the ball from Michigan State's Jason Teague on one and returning it 75 yards for a touchdown.

**Mike Nugent, Sr., K, Ohio State He is the Buckeyes' best offensive weapon; he beat Marshall with a 55-yard field goal two weeks ago and hit five three-pointers in a 22--14 win over N.C. State.
