SATURDAY 6

Kostya Tszyu vs. Sharmba Mitchell Showtime 9 p.m. | Mitchell (55--3, 31 KOs), the IBF junior welterweight champ, looks to avenge a 2001 TKO to Tszyu (30--1, 24 KOs). Women's Soccer U.S. vs. Denmark ESPN2 4 p.m. | The U.S. has a record 27 wins in 2004.

SUNDAY 7

35th New York City Marathon NBC 2 p.m. | More than 30,000 run through the five boroughs. Olympic medalists Meb Keflezghi (silver) and Deena Kastor (bronze) could become the first Americans to win since Alberto Salazar (1982) and Miki Gorman (1977).

MONDAY 8

Vikings at Colts ABC 9 p.m. | A showdown between the top offenses in the NFC and the AFC: Minnesota averages 431.4 yards per game; Indianapolis averages 414.0. Colts fans can flip to ESPN Classic at 11 p.m. for a SportsCentury special on QB Peyton Manning.

TUESDAY 9

Toledo at Northern Illinois ESPN2 7:30 p.m. | The only two teams in the MAC West with perfect conference records meet. The Huskies, who haven't beaten the Rockets since 1989, must shut down the conference's top QB, Bruce Gradkowski (2,386 yards and 19 TDs).

WEDNESDAY 10

WTA Tour Championship | The season-ender, with Wimbledon champ Maria Sharapova and U.S. Open winner Svetlana Kuznetsova, begins in L.A. Suns at Cavaliers ESPN 8 p.m. | A matchup of the past two rookies of the year, Amare Stoudemire and LeBron James.

THURSDAY 11

North Shore FOX 9 p.m. | Gabrielle Reece--beach volleyball star, model and Mrs. Laird Hamilton--plays herself on the Hawaiian surf soap. Mavericks at Heat TNT 8 p.m. | Dallas, which settled for Erick Dampier after failing to land Shaq, sees what it missed out on.
