Sinclair, a junior forward at Portland, won the Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy, given to NCAA's Division I top male and female soccer players. She is a two-time West Coast Conference player of the year, a three-time All-America and a member of the Canadian national team.

O'Rourke, a senior midfielder at Indiana, also won the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy and was named the NSCAA scholar-athlete of the year. He started 83 matches for a Hoosiers defense that had 46 shutouts and led the team to its second straight national championship.
WASHINGTON, N.C. > Basketball
Calvin, a junior guard at Washington High, scored a school-record 52 points in the opener of a holiday tournament, got his 1,000th point in the title game and was the MVP. He leads the Pam Pack in points (30 per game), rebounds (12) and blocked shots (2).
LANGHORNE, PA. > Field Hockey
Partlon, a senior midfielder at Bloomsburg, scored 13 goals this season, had a team-leading eight assists and was named NCAA Division II field hockey athlete of the year. She helped the Huskies to NCAA national titles the last three years, and she is a three-time All-America.
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS > Football
Chase, a senior quarterback at Southlake Carroll High, passed for 4,672 yards and 50 touchdowns and was named the Associated Press Texas 5A offensive MVP for the second year in a row. He led the undefeated Dragons to the the 5A title and the No. 1 ranking in the nation.
EDINA, MINN. > Tennis
Whitney, a sophomore at Edina High, won the Minnesota Class AA singles championship and led the Hornets to the team title. She has played on the varsity team for four years, has a 119--0 singles record and has won two Class AA doubles championships.
