Ouellette, a senior forward at Minnesota-Duluth, had four goals and three assists, including her 200th career point, as she led the Bulldogs to a two-game sweep of Bemidji State. She was named Western Collegiate Hockey Association offensive player of the week for the third time this season.
KENHORST, PA. > Bowling
Shane, a junior at Governor Mifflin High in Shillington, Pa., bowled six honors scores (games of 298, 299 or 300) in as many high school matches and had back-to-back 800-plus series, which is a U.S. high school first. During that run he had four perfect games.
JOHNSTON, R.I. > Basketball
Chelsea, a senior guard at Johnston High, has scored 2,357 career points. She leads the 11-1 Panthers this season with averages of 27 points, eight rebounds and four steals per game. A three-time all-state player, she will attend Providence in the fall.
DESOTO, TEXAS > Gymnastics
Huffaker, a sophomore at the University of Denver, won six events and back-to-back all-around titles within a four-day period for the Pioneers. She has three all-around titles this season (six for her career), leads the team in individual wins and is ranked fifth in the nation on the vault.
JOLIET, ILL. > Basketball
Saunders, a junior forward at Saint Xavier University, scored a game-high 20 points and had eight rebounds in a 76-46 win over Indiana--South Bend. His 8 of 9 from the field raised his season field goal percentage to 72.5, the second best in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
