Ciconte, a senior forward at Maryland, scored the only goal in a game that gave the No. 1-ranked Terrapins a victory over No. 4 Duke and the team's fourth NCAA Division I field hockey championship. She ended the season with a team-high and career-best 20 goals and was named to the All-NCAA tournament team.
BANGUI, CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC > Basketball
Guegbelet, a junior forward at Central Connecticut State, was named the most outstanding player at the Great Alaska Shootout. She averaged 22 points and 10.5 rebounds for the Blue Devils, matching her career-high of 27 points in a 69-65 win over Arizona for the women's title.

Koucheravy, a junior at George Mason University, set school and meet records while winning the 200-yard (1:39.27), 500-yard (4:22.79) and 1,650-yard (15:09.35) freestyle races at the Patriot Invitational, held at GMU. He has been named the Colonial Athletic Association male swimmer of the week twice this season.
CUMBERLAND, R.I. > Tennis
Meghan, a senior at Mount St. Charles Academy, won the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Individual Tennis Championship and led the Mounties to their third Division I team title in four years. She had a 69-6 career record as the team's No. 1 player and helped put together a string of four undefeated regular seasons.
WAUWATOSA, WIS. > Basketball
Braier, a senior forward at Lawrence University, became the first player in the 83-year history of Midwest Conference basketball to reach 1,000 career points and 1,000 rebounds. He is averaging 15.6 points for the 8-0 Vikings this season and is leading the conference with 11.1 rebounds per game.
