Coley, a freshman at Thiel College, won the 110-meter high hurdles and400-meter intermediate hurdles and was part of the Tomcats' victorious 4√ó100-and 4√ó400-meter relay teams. His performance helped the Tomcats win the MaroonInvitational, and he was named the meet's most valuable player.

Michael, 10, a fifth-grader at Westportal Elementary, rolled a 300 game as partof a 656 series while competing in the Daly City All Stars Scratch Trios Leagueat the Sea Bowl in Pacifica, Calif. He became the youngest member of the UnitedStates Bowling Congress to bowl a perfect game.

Silva, a senior guard at Randolph-Macon, was named the NCAA Division III playerof the year by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, D3hoops.com and DIIINews. She had more career points (2,371), assists (700) and steals (446) thanany other male or female player in the history of the Old Dominion AthleticConference.

Emily, a junior righthander at Flour Bluff High, pitched 14 innings, struck out36 batters and hit a game-winning triple in a 1--0 victory over Calallen High.She has thrown 12 shutouts and has an 0.56 ERA and 335 strikeouts in 163 1/3innings. She also leads the Hornets with a .389 batting average.

Rebecca, a junior forward at Jenks High, scored a hat trick in a 10--0 win overTahlequah to bring her career total to 48 goals, a school record. She hasscored nine goals for the Lady Trojans this season and also holds schoolrecords for goals scored in a season (32) and consecutive games scoring a goal(16).

Vieira, 72, earned his 1,100th win as coach of New Haven with an 11--10 victoryover Dowling on March 25. He has had only one losing season in 43 years withthe Chargers and has taken the team on 30 trips to the postseason, including 15appearances in the NCAA Division II College World Series.
