Lucas, a senior sprinter at Illinois State, was the only Redbird to qualify inthree events for the NCAA Mideast Regional and was named the ValleyConference's track athlete of the week. She qualified with league-best times inthe 100 and 200 meters and as part of the school's 4√ó100-meter relay team.

Waddell, a junior at Bucknell, shot a three-under 210 in three rounds--one offthe tournament record--at the U.S. Naval Academy course to become the PatriotLeague's first repeat individual champion. His 10-shot victory gave the Bisontheir first league men's golf title and put him and his team into the NCAAregionals.

Horton, a sophomore at Oklahoma, won the all-around title and led the Soonersto their second straight NCAA men's championship. He also won the floorexercise and rings to set a school record with three individual titles in aseason. He has earned 10 All-America honors in his career, breaking BartConner's school record of nine.

FRANKLIN, WIS. > Baseball
Goetz, a senior outfielder at Wisconsin-Milwaukee, leads NCAA Division I with a.516 batting average and has a .607 on-base percentage. He has hit safely in 47of his last 48 games and is currently working on a 20-game hitting streak. Hehas been named Horizon League player of the week twice this season.

Colgan, a junior at Princeton, scored two goals in a 9--6 win over Bucknell togive the Tigers their second consecutive East Coast Athletic Conferencechampionship; she was named the tournament's MVP. She went on to score twogoals in the team's third-straight Southern championship victory.

STERLING, VA. > Baseball
Meggie, a senior righthander at Dominion High, became the first female in thehistory of the Commonwealth of Virginia to pitch a perfect men's varsity game,with a 10--0 victory over Briar Woods. Two years ago she became the firstfemale in the state's history to win a men's varsity baseball game.
