He leads the Colonial AthleticAssociation with an 0.69 goals-against average, is second in save percentage(.844) and has twice been named conference rookie of the week.

Bell, a redshirtfreshman at Wayne State, rushed for 318 yards, set two Warrior records bygaining 386 all-purpose yards and tied another school record with four rushingtouchdowns in a 35-31 win over Mercyhurst. He is second in NCAA Division II inaverage all-purpose yards (235.0) and rushing yards (198.0).

Mallory, a seniorrighthander at Lee's Summit High, pitched two perfect games in five days,giving the Tigers a 7-0 win against Richmond and striking out 17 of 21 battersin a 6-0 victory over Lee's Summit West. She is 25-3 with 340 strikeouts, 11shutouts and an 0.39 ERA--plus a .540 batting average--for the season.

McGill, seniorforward at Nebraska-Omaha, had a second-half goal and an assist in a 2-0 winover Minnesota-Duluth, becoming the Mavericks' career scoring leader. She hashelped the team to a 12--0 record and leads the North Central Conference inseven categories, including points (27), goals (11) and game-winning goals(three).

Hamilton, asenior at Colorado School of Mines, defeated 290 NCAA Division I and II runnersto win the University of Nebraska--Lincoln Woody Greeno Invitational. He helpedthe Orediggers finish first in a field of 27 teams and was named Rocky MountainAthletic Conference/Boulder Running Company runner of the week.

BELLEFONTAINE,OHIO > Volleyball

Kerns, a seniormiddle blocker at Wingate, was named South Atlantic Conference volleyballplayer of the week after leading the Bulldogs to four consecutive wins, whichput the team in first place in the league standings. She hit .536 with 3.27kills and 0.64 blocks per game over the four games.
