Cintron, a junior middle blocker at New Jersey City University, scored 109 points and had 91 kills, 42 digs and 23 blocks in four matches. She was the New Jersey Athletic Conference player of the week for the sixth time this season. She is the third player in Division III ever to have 2,000 career kills and 1,500 career digs.

Gerald, a senior quarterback at Millwood High, scored six touchdowns to lead the Falcons to a 54--27 victory over Wellston that clinched the District 2A-2 title. He threw touchdown passes of seven, nine, 16 and 72 yards, rushed for a 60-yard touchdown and scored on a 65-yard punt return.

Charlie Davies
MANCHESTER, N.H. > Soccer
Davies, a junior forward at Boston College, was named Atlantic Coast Conference offensive player of the year. He has scored a school-record 15 goals and had six assists for 36 points in 15 games this season. Named to the All-ACC first team, he leads the league in seven categories and is second in the nation in goals and points per game.

Greg Maloomian
NEEDHAM, MASS. > Tennis
Maloomian, a senior at Bentley College, went 4--0, winning singles and doubles matches to help the Falcons sweep Merrimack and Saint Anselm. He was the Northeast-10's men's tennis player of the week for the second consecutive time, and he is 12--0 this season in dual matches.

CHICAGO > Soccer
Morote-Ariza, a freshman forward at Loyola University (Chicago), led the Ramblers with a team single-season record 25 points, tied the school record with nine goals and was named Horizon League newcomer of the year. She is a member of Peru's U-20 women's national team.

Jody Sherwood
MAPLE LAKE, MINN. > Water Skiing
Sherwood, 36, an executive assistant for a land development company, led the U.S. Senior team to the gold medal at the 2006 Barefoot Water Ski Championships at Lake Silverado in Adna, Wash. She won a tournament-record six gold medals and was named USA Water Ski's female athlete of the month.
