Price, a freshman at Alabama, won her third straight all-around competition, leading the No. 4--ranked Crimson Tide to a national-best 197.475 score against Auburn; she was named the Southeastern Conference gymnast of the week. She opened the season with all-around wins over Oklahoma and No. 1 Florida.

SUMMERSIDE, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND > Ice Hockey
Gallant, a senior goalie at Manhattanville, earned a school-record fourth shutout of the season with a 10--0 win over Lebanon Valley. He is a five-time Eastern College Athletic Conference West goaltender of the week this season, and he leads Division III in goals-against average (1.46) and save percentage (.943).

VIRGINIA BEACH > Field Hockey

Kaitlyn, a senior forward at Frank W. Cox High, was named Virginia's Group AAA field hockey player of the year. She scored in a state-record 23 straight games, led Virginia players with 50 goals and took the Falcons to an undefeated season and the Group AAA state title.

Meia Daniels
FORT WORTH, TEXAS > Basketball
Daniels, a junior guard at Howard Payne, averaged 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over two games to give the Lady Jackets their 15th and 16th straight wins. She hit 17 of 19 free throws, made four steals and was the American Southwest Conference West Division player of the week for the second time this season.

Travis Helgeson
OVERLAND PARK, KANS. > Tennis
Helgeson, a junior at Georgia who is ranked No. 22 in the nation, defeated the No. 2 player, his teammate John Isner, in the finals of the Southeastern Conference Coaches Indoor Championship. He did not drop a set in his five-match tournament run and was named the SEC men's tennis player of the week.

Shane Maynard
BECKLEY, W.VA. > Basketball
Maynard, a junior forward at West Liberty State, averaged 30 points and five rebounds for the Hilltoppers in a pair of back-to-back road victories over Salem International and West Virginia State. He was named the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player of the week.
