Kwonya Ferguson
MELBOURNE, FLA. > Track and Field
Ferguson, a junior at St. Augustine's, helped the Falcons to the team title at the NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center in Boston. She set a meet record in the triple jump (43'6") and also won the high jump (5'10 1/2") and long jump (20'3 1/2").

Kyle Evans
EDMOND, OKLA. > Wrestling
Evans, a junior at Central Oklahoma, led the Bronchos to the team championship and finished with a perfect (39--0) season, including the 141-pound title at the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships. He was ranked No. 1 nationally in his weight class all season after being the runner-up as a sophomore.

Omari Lawrence
BRONX > Basketball
Omari, a sophomore guard at St. Raymond's High, averaged 10 points and five rebounds this season as he led the Ravens to 16 wins and a berth in the city's Catholic high school championship. He also participated in the Metro Hoops Freshman/Sophomore Showcase.

Sara Bauer
ST. CATHARINES, ONT. > Hockey
Bauer, a Wisconsin senior forward, had the key assist in the Badgers' 1--0 win over Harvard in four overtimes, a victory that put the eventual national champions in the Frozen Four, of which she was named Most Outstanding Player. She was the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's leading scorer and player of the year.

Brooke Smith
PINEVILLE, KY. > Basketball
Smith, a freshman forward-center at Union College (in Barbourville), averaged 23.3 points and 6.7 rebounds and shot 81% from the free throw line as the Bulldogs defeated the top three seeds and won the Appalachian Athletic Conference championship. She was named the tournament MVP.

Sean Urena
RIALTO, CALIF. > Baseball
Urena, a freshman righthander at Cal State--Fullerton, was named one of the Louisville Slugger National Players of the Week after pitching a one-hitter against No. 6 Rice in a 6--1 victory for the Titans. In his first collegiate complete game he retired 13 of the first 15 players he faced and 14 of the last 15.
