THE QUESTIONS WITH Floyd Mayweather

MIDDLEWEIGHT BOXER
May 20, 2007

What was yourwelcome-to-pro-boxing moment?

I really didn't have one. I remember boxing before I remember my parents—that'show long I've been in the game.

What was yourmost embarrassing moment?

I ate some bad food or something when I was fighting this Spanish kid [in1997], and when the bell rang at the end of one of the rounds, I went and threwup in the corner.

What's one thingabout boxers that people don't think about?

Not everybody is dedicated. If you're going to be in this sport, you need tocommit everything you have to it, and not everyone out there does that.

Your mosttreasured possessions?

My cars. I have a 10-car garage. I roll to McDonald's in my Rolls-Royce all thetime. I pull up, and the guy at the drive-through says, "Man, what are youdoing here?" I say, "I gotta eat like everyone else!"

LAST WEEK
After his May 5 decision over Oscar De La Hoya, the champ basked in the mediaglow, appearing on The Tonight Show and Regis and Kelly, among others.

THIS WEEK
Mayweather, 30, plans to be at home in Las Vegas, spending time with his fourchildren.
