Dolphins AT Redskins
Have you forgotten that Green threw for 4,000-plus yards in three straight seasons in K.C. before getting knocked out for eight games last year? Now healthy and running a quick-hitting scheme with better receivers, he'll pick apart a secondary whose returning starters had only three INTs in 2006.
Cowboys vs. Giants
Even if WR Terry Glenn misses the game while recovering from knee surgery, Romo and T.O. will have their way with a New York defense in disarray due to secondary injuries and the holdout of Dallas nemesis Michael Strahan.
Jaguars vs. Titans
The overlooked veteran, who is just 487 yards shy of 10,000 for his career, averaged 7.7 yards per carry against Tennessee in '06.
Saints AT Colts
He ran for 100 yards in four of his final six starts last year; Indy yielded a league-worst 173.0 rushing yards per game in '06.
Broncos AT Bills
In '06, while with Tennessee, the ex-Bill ran for 135 yards against his former team. Now he's got Denver's offensive line clearing his path.
49ers vs. Cardinals
In his injury-shortened rookie season, nine of Davis's 20 catches and 128 of his 265 yards came in two games against Arizona. The Cards still don't have an answer for the fleet, 6' 3" 253-pounder; in fact few defenses do, which makes Davis a regular start recommendation.
Jets vs. Patriots
Since returning to New York, Coles has 11 catches for 171 yards and three TDs in his two home games against the Pats. Expect CB Asante Samuel to show rust.
Browns vs. Steelers
The third-year man has averaged 95.7 yards per game in his three meetings with Pittsburgh. Last year a quarter of his 884 yards came against the black-and-gold.
Buccaneers AT Seahawks
The ex-Seattle stalwart lit up his former team for 118 yards and a TD last New Year's Eve with backup Tim Rattay as his QB. Expect even better results with a rejuvenated Jeff Garcia taking over in Tampa.
Saints AT Colts
NBC didn't shell out a gazillion dollars for the rights to a 9-6 defensive battle on opening night. Expect points aplenty from two of the NFL's best offenses.
DOLPHINS AT REDSKINS
Miami's defense had the third most sacks and allowed the fifth-least points in '06; rookie Ted Ginn Jr. tied an NCAA career record with eight return TDs at Ohio State.
