1932-2007

Working againstChiefs cornerback Willie Mitchell (22), Packers wide receiver Max McGee madeone of his seven receptions in what later came to be known as Super Bowl I. Twoof his catches went for touchdowns in Green Bay's 35-10 win on Jan. 15,1967, at Memorial Coliseum in L.A. McGee, who made SI's cover that week(inset), died on Sunday when he fell while clearing leaves from his roof(page 28).
