NAVY SMOTHERED
Army all afternoon when the teams met last Saturday for the 108th time, in Baltimore. Even Billy the Goat got into the act. The Navy mascot scored a takedown on a boisterous Cadet who came onto the field to disrupt a touchdown celebration. And there were plenty of those, as Navy, which set a school record with 479 points this season, rolled to a 38--3 win, its sixth straight in the series. Reggie Campbell (above) scored two TDs, including a 98-yard kickoff return, for the 8--4 Midshipmen in front of a crowd of 71,160—or 71,161 if you count cardboard commanders in chief.
