Mets rightfielder Ryan Church suffered a mild concussion when he collided with Braves shortstop Yunel Escobar while attempting to break up a double play on May 20 in Atlanta. New York lost the game 6--1 and the regular services of Church, who was reduced to pinch-hitting duty for the next several days.
