2 Iowa's Shonn Greene is making a case for the Doak Walker Award, which goes to the nation's top running back. The junior, who missed last season for academic reasons, has rushed for more than 100 yards in all eight of the Hawkeyes' games and had 217 yards and four touchdowns in last week's 38--16 win over Wisconsin.
3 Diminutive freshman running backs are all the rage in the Pac-10. Oregon State's 5'7", 193-pound Jacquizz Rodgers leads the league in rushing (116 yards per game), while Arizona's 5'8", 180-pound Keola Antolin ran for 149 yards and three touchdowns in a 42--27 upset of California last week.
