Jon, a junior at Bishop Kelley High and the youngest member of the U.S. national men's team, won the USA Shooting national championship in international skeet. He holds 14 junior world titles and three national records and was the 2007 junior national champion. He will represent the U.S. overseas in '09.

Stefania Morra
Scarborough, ont. > Soccer
Morra, a sophomore at York, was named the Canadian Interuniversity Sport player of the year after leading the CIS in regular-season scoring (18 goals, 1.29 per game) for the second consecutive year. She scored four hat tricks this season and was named first team All-Canada.

Washaun, a senior running back at Emanuel County Institute, set the Georgia High School Association career record for touchdowns with 138, 27 more than the old mark. Last season he broke the single-season TD record, with 58. He has committed to Georgia.

Andrea Walkonen

Walkonen, a senior at Boston University, won the America East Conference championship for the second straight season. Her time—16:48.2—was the second fastest in championship history. At the NCAA championships she was the top finisher from the Northeast, placing 21st of 252.

Dan Whalen
WILLOUGHBY, OHIO > Football
Whalen, a junior quarterback at Case Western Reserve, was the unanimous pick for University Athletic Association's offensive player of the year. He completed 61.5% of his passes for 2,192 yards and 17 touchdowns and had a league-record 148.4 passer rating. He was also the offensive player of year in 2007.

Lisa McCloskey
MONTGOMERY, TEXAS > Golf
McCloskey, a freshman at Pepperdine, was the first woman college golfer to break 200 when she won the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in October with an NCAA-record score of 17-under 199. She shot 67-65-67 with no bogeys and helped the Waves to a win.
