Seth Davis's Three-Pointer

1 Oklahoma's guards are better than you think. Blake Griffin's contributions are well known, but the Sooners are winning in no small part because freshman Willie Warren is averaging 15.5 points a game and senior Austin Johnson leads the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio.

2 Jrue Holiday (right) needs to get it going. Much was expected of UCLA's 6'3" freshman guard—the 2008 Gatorade high school player of the year—but he is averaging only 9.6 points a game and scored just two in last Saturday's 61--58 overtime loss at home to Arizona State.

3 Florida State looks like an NCAA tournament team. The Seminoles haven't been to the Big Dance since 1998, but their 15--3 start includes wins over Cincinnati, Cal and Florida.
