ON THE NUMBER

Don't Lose Your Shirt

When you arrive at the course and realize you've forgotten something—shirt, balls, hat—you know you can buy those items in the pro shop, but you also imagine you're going to pay dearly for the convenience. Not always. Industry returns from December show that while shirts and tops (sweaters, vests, fleece) cost substantially more at the course, the same is not so for pants and shorts. So get your shirts at the mall, but feel free to forget your pants.
