Things I Think I Think

SI's fearless NFL expert opines on all the latest news, buzz and inside information. This is just a taste of what you'll get online.

1 Now that Donovan McNabb has gone to Washington, I think the Raiders have to regroup and try to salvage JaMarcus Russell for next season while also getting backup Bruce Gradkowski healthy enough to challenge him for the job. I see Gradkowski (below), who completed 82 of 150 passes for 1,007 yards and six touchdowns in 2009, winning the job in camp.

2 I think if I were in Vegas, I'd put my money on the first five picks in the draft being Sam Bradford (Oklahoma), Ndamukong Suh (Nebraska), Gerald McCoy (Oklahoma), Russell Okung (Oklahoma State) and Bryan Bulaga (Iowa). The McNabb deal most likely takes Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen out of the top five.

3 I think newly signed Willie Parker will work the hardest of the three backs currently on the roster in Washington (Larry Johnson and Clinton Portis are the others), but that's still not going to guarantee Parker the starting job under Mike Shanahan.
