PETER KING'S Things I Think I Think

SI's fearless NFL expert opines on all the latest news, buzz and inside information. This is just a taste of what you'll get online.

1 I think Darren Sharper's recent Tweet regarding Brett Favre's ankle mirrors what every Saints player will be thinking about come Sept. 9 in their season opener against the Vikings: "X marks the spot.'' Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams will be sending blitzers from everywhere, and Sharper (below) will definitely be one of them.

2 I think Brian Westbrook may have three interesting choices of where to play in the fall but only one good one if he wants a valuable role on a team that has even a mere chance to be good: Denver. He might get more carries in St. Louis behind Steven Jackson, and he may be on a more family-friendly team in Washington, where brother Byron plays, but the best football decision is the Broncos.

3 Speaking of Washington, I think, and this is only a hunch, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Terrell Owens signs with the Redskins.
