Love him, hate him. Laugh wit him, laugh at him. Bottom line: The second-year coach of the 10--4 Jets, fresh off a star turn in HBO's Hard Knocks, has become a larger-than-life figure for whom there is no middle ground. New York fans love his brashness and his sense of humor—not to mention his willingness to tweak Patriots coach Bill Belichick, the Darth Vader of their universe. And seemingly everyone else views Ryan as full of hot air and himself. Either way, he cannot, and will not, be ignored.
