The draft wild card is Ryan Murphy. The 5'10" defenseman has excellent speed and runs the power play well. Most teams rate him between sixth and eighth in the draft. Others, out of concerns over his size, have him from 15th to 20th. Don't be surprised if the Bruins grab Murphy, 18, with the ninth pick.... Last year, Swedish center Mika Zibanejad was considered a late first-round pick at best. But he has moved into the top 10 based on his excellent play after being promoted to the Swedish Elite League last December. A prolific scorer, he has great speed and isn't afraid to play physical.... Brandon Saad is a solid two-way forward who should become the second Pittsburgh-developed player to be taken in the first round. The first was the Blue Jackets' R.J. Umberger, taken 16th by the Canucks in 2001.
