Xavier's Tu Holloway is the nation's best clutch shooter. The Musketeers' 6-foot senior guard, who buried two three-pointers in OT to cap a comeback win over Vanderbilt on Nov. 28, hit three straight treys in the final two minutes last Saturday to help Xavier overcome a 19-point second-half deficit and beat Purdue.... Marquette scored the season's most impressive win, at Wisconsin on Saturday despite not having starting point guard Junior Cadougan, who was suspended for a violation of team rules. It was just the 12th loss at the Kohl Center in Bo Ryan's 11 years in Madison.... The Final Four's Cinderellas have had a rough start. VCU's 5--3 record includes neutral-court losses to Seton Hall and lowly Georgia Tech, while Butler lost its Horizon opener at home on Saturday to Valparaiso and fell to 4--4 through week's end. Those teams are long shots to reach the NCAA tournament, much less to return to the Final Four.
