Brandon Bolden Junior Partner

October 08, 2012

Nobody expected a rookie with 15 yards on seven carries entering Week 4 who barely made the Patriots' 53-man roster would become part of the first New England tandem since 1980 to rush for 100-yards each in a game. Yet along with Stevan Ridley, Bolden busted through the Bills' front seven for 137 yards on 16 carries. He has the size (5'11", 220 pounds) pedigree (undrafted from Ole Miss) and running style that bring to mind ex-Pat BenJarvus Green-Ellis, whom Bolden now looks like a viable replacement for. As the bye weeks kick in, he'll be a useful pickup.

ACTION REACTION
Ryan Tannehill threw for 431 yards and a TD against the Cardinals. Grab Brian Hartline (253 yards on Sunday) and Davone Bess (123 yards).
Rams rookie PK Greg Zuerlein hit from 58 and 60 yards against Seattle; he's perfect for the year. He could be worth a win or two, especially in leagues that reward long makes.
Chris Johnson gained 141 yards to become the first visitor since the 2010 season to rush for 100 yards at Reliant Stadium. Johnson's trade value is up, so deal him now because he hasn't proven he can perform consistently.

RISERS

Greg Olsen

Although he's owned in less than 20% of leagues, he's been steady, catching 13 passes for 187 yards and a TD over the last two games.

Michael Turner

He's supposed to be over the hill, but he broke out for 103 rushing yards and a career-high 68 receiving yards.

Anquan Boldin

WR, Ravens

A consummate pro, he had eight catches and 125 yards in the second half against the Browns.

Shonn Green

RB, Jets

He followed up a strong opening game (94 yards, TD) with three games totaling 97 yards on 41 carries (2.4 average).

Mark Ingram

RB, Saints

Through four games the Saints' 2011 first-round pick has gained 89 yards from scrimmage.
