NOT: PISTONS JAMMED

Detroit (23--45) clinched its fifth straight sub-.500 season last week by running its losing streak to eight games. Worse? Two days after being posterized by DeAndre Jordan (YouTube it, like right now), Brandon Knight (13.9 ppg) sprained his left ankle and will be out "awhile."

HOT: ROONEY RULES

After scoring the lone goal in Manchester United's 1--0 win over Reading on Sunday, Wayne Rooney tweeted, "Great [day] today. Back home chilling out. My son is so funny. Bedtime." It could be lights-out for the rest of the Premier League; United is 15 points clear with nine games left.

NOT: PHILLY ACHES

The Phillies' staff has been a mess, with a 5.27 ERA in 22 spring games. But here's the real trouble: Roy Halladay left Sunday's game after one inning with a stomach virus, five days after getting shelled for seven runs in 22/3 innings as his fast ball barely reached the upper 80s.

HOT: PENS MIGHTIER

With the best goal differential in the East (+28), Pittsburgh (22-8-0) was on a nine-game winning streak after knocking off Boston 2--1 on Sunday. The Penguins can thank—who else?—Sidney Crosby, whose 48 points are tops in the league.

NOT: KNICKED UP

You know who's not very good anymore? The Knicks, that's who. They've lost five of six and, as always, there's injury drama: Carmelo Anthony left the road trip last week to have his knee drained in New York, only to fly back and join the team on the West Coast—and then not play.
